Cannonbar Akitas is owned by Craig Bannon & Niamh Carroll.
We are situated in Mullingar, the picturesque county of Westmeath, in the heart of Ireland.

We started showing our first Akita in 2006 and were totally smitten by the breed.
Since then, having researched the breed, we chose lines from the infamous
Anshee Kennels in the UK, which we believe, contain the unique blend of overall type,
soundness & quality that we were looking for in the breed.

We are commited to the ongoing development of this beautiful breed.
